Subscribers

Subscribers are separate from CMS Admin users and site participants.

Confirmation

When double opt-in is enabled, a new address remains pending until the subscriber confirms it from the email link.

Preferences and unsubscribe

Subscriber links allow people to manage preferences or unsubscribe without needing an Admin account.

Delivery requirements

Mail Settings must be valid and Background Jobs must run reliably. A subscription can be recorded even if the worker has not yet sent its confirmation email.
