Finish Cornerstone migration

Complete final WordPress checks and remove Cornerstone Migrator when it is no longer needed.

Cornerstone Migrator is intended to be removable after the content conversion is complete.

Final review

Check the converted Pages and Posts on the public WordPress site and in the editor. Resolve remaining review items before removing the tools you may need for rollback or comparison.

Use Clean Exit

Use the Migrator’s Clean Exit checks where available. They help identify remaining converted-content work and presentation items which still need attention before removal.

Keep a final backup

Take a new WordPress backup after the conversion is complete and before removing Cornerstone or the Migrator from an important site.

Remove the Migrator

When the converted content is working normally and you no longer need its review/restore tools, deactivate and delete Cornerstone Migrator like a normal WordPress plugin.

Cornerstone itself

Remove or replace Cornerstone only when you have confirmed the rest of the WordPress site no longer depends on it for templates, Pages or other content outside the conversion you completed.
