Queries save a reusable content selection such as latest Posts, featured content or popular content.

Use a Query for

Use a Query when the same content selection needs to appear in more than one place, or when you want to manage the selection separately from its layout.

Choose how it looks elsewhere

The Query decides what content is selected. The Component, Sidebar or Template where it is used controls the presentation.

Keep filters clear

Use only the filters required for the result. A simple Query is easier to review and less likely to exclude content unexpectedly.
