Cornerstone Migrator is a WordPress product for converting Cornerstone-authored Pages and Posts inside WordPress. It is useful on its own and is not a required Micro CMS migration component.
What it is for
Use Cornerstone Migrator when you want to move authored content away from Cornerstone and leave it as normal WordPress content that can be edited without the Migrator.
Work in WordPress first
Conversion, preview and review happen in WordPress. Finish that work before treating the converted Page or Post as normal content for any later migration or redesign.
Preview before changing content
The Migrator provides a preview-first workflow. Use it to compare the converted result before creating a comparison draft or applying the conversion to the original item.
Not pixel-perfect recreation
The aim is clean, portable WordPress content and Media. Complex builder effects, custom scripts and interactive elements can require manual review rather than being copied blindly.
