Installation
Upload Core, open the installer and create the first owner account.
There is no separate installer package. Use the signed Core ZIP and keep the directory structure intact.
Install the files
- Upload the Core ZIP to the directory that will run Micro CMS.
- Extract it in place. Do not move individual Core files into a different structure.
- Make sure
data/and the Media root are writable by PHP. - Open the installation address in a browser.
- Enter the site details and create the owner account.
Choose the installation mode
Single Site creates the normal one-site installation. Bridge Host creates the normal first site and adopts it as the control Silo for the Host.
Choose a starting pack
Core only gives you the neutral native baseline. Starter Pack adds a general-purpose starting composition. Advanced Pack adds a richer publishing and application-ready composition.
After installation
Sign in to Admin and complete the first checks before moving real content onto the site.
