Final WordPress cutover
Verify Micro CMS, switch the public site and remove temporary WordPress migration access.
Cut over only after the Micro CMS destination has been checked as a real site, not simply because the import reports completion.
Pre-cutover checks
- Open the main public routes and representative Pages and Posts.
- Check Navigation, Header, Footer, Media and search.
- Test forms, sign-in and password recovery where used.
- Run Site Health and Diagnostics.
- Keep a final WordPress backup.
Switch the public address
Use the hosting or DNS method chosen for the site. If WordPress and Micro CMS coexist during the move, follow the relocation guide so the active routes are deliberate.
Check after the switch
Test the public site from a new browser session and, where possible, another network. Confirm redirects, HTTPS and Media delivery after caches and proxies have updated.
Remove migration access
- In WordPress, open Tools → Micro CMS Bridge.
- Choose Revoke token.
- Deactivate the Migration Bridge plugin.
- Delete the Migration Bridge plugin when you no longer need another migration stage.
