Practical browser and device checks for Micro CMS Admin and public sites.

Use a current browser for Micro CMS Admin and test the public site at more than one screen size before a major release.

Admin

Keep Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari reasonably current. If an Admin screen behaves strangely, test a private window and temporarily disable browser extensions before assuming the site is broken.

Public site

Check keyboard navigation, touch controls, long menus, forms, images and wide tables at desktop, tablet and mobile widths.

Caching

A browser can hold old CSS or JavaScript after a deployment. Use a private window or hard refresh when the public site looks different from the current Admin preview.
