Install Cornerstone Migrator
Back up WordPress, install Cornerstone Migrator and prepare the source content.
Treat a builder conversion like a content migration: back up first, test representative content and keep the original source available until the result has been reviewed.
Before installing
- Take a complete WordPress backup.
- Use staging first for a large or important site.
- Confirm Cornerstone-authored Pages and Posts still open correctly.
- Make sure the WordPress Media Library is healthy.
Install
- In WordPress Admin, open Plugins → Add New Plugin.
- Choose Upload Plugin and select the Cornerstone Migrator ZIP.
- Install and activate it.
- Open Tools → Cornerstone Migrator.
Choose a starting sample
Begin with a representative Page or Post rather than converting the entire site immediately. Include examples with headings, images, columns, tables or other structures you rely on.
