Manual update recovery
Recover an interrupted Core or Extension replacement when normal update handling cannot finish.
Manual update recovery is only for an interrupted Core or Extension update. Use the normal Updates screen first.
When to use it
Use manual recovery when an update was interrupted and the normal update screen cannot complete or undo it.
Do not clear the warning by deleting files
Keep the recovery files created by the update until recovery has finished. Deleting them can remove the information Micro CMS needs to return the installation to a complete release.
Recovery helper
Use the supplied update-recovery.php helper when the normal Admin area cannot complete recovery. Follow the instructions it displays and choose the available recovery action for the interrupted update.
After recovery
Run Site Health and Diagnostics, then check Updates again. If you replaced a release manually, confirm package integrity before returning the site to normal use.
