Visibility and preview
Control public, private, password-protected and unlisted content.
Publishing and visibility are separate decisions. A published item does not have to be available to every visitor.
Public
Public content appears normally and may be indexed by site search and public archives.
Private
Private content is not a normal public page. Use Preview while editing it. Preview adds a clear private state indicator.
Password protected
Password-protected content requires the visitor to provide the configured password before the body is shown.
Unlisted
Unlisted content can have a public route but is excluded from normal discovery surfaces where the content rules require public listing.
