Templates
Control the outer structure used to render Pages, Posts, archives, search and applications.
Templates define the page structure around content. They decide where the content body, related content, comments and other shared elements appear.
Common Template types
- Page Template — normal Pages.
- Post Template — Posts and editorial content.
- Archive Template — lists such as Categories and Collections.
- Search Template — search results.
- 404 Template — not-found pages.
- Application Template — application surfaces which need the normal site shell.
Choose defaults
Select the normal Page, Post and Archive Templates through the site presentation settings. Search and 404 have their own site-default slots.
