Email delivery basics
Understand common causes of delayed or filtered Micro CMS email.
A successful “send” from the application does not guarantee that the recipient’s provider will place the message in the inbox.
Start with Mail Settings
Send a test message from Micro CMS and confirm Background Jobs are running. If no delivery attempt appears, fix the site-side configuration before investigating spam filtering.
Domain authentication
Use the SPF, DKIM and DMARC guidance supplied by your mail provider. These DNS records help receiving services verify that the sender is allowed to use the domain.
Spam and reputation
New domains, shared hosting mail servers and inconsistent sender details can cause messages to be filtered. Check the spam folder and the mail provider’s delivery logs where available.
