Choose how comments are presented without changing Core moderation and storage.

Comment Layers control the presentation of the public comment area.

Presentation

A Comment Layer changes how the summary, comment list and form are arranged. Moderation and participant permissions continue to use the normal comment settings.

Layouts

First-party packs may provide presentations such as threaded, compact or question-and-answer layouts.

Templates

Choose a compatible Comment Layer for Templates which show comments. If you do not choose a different one, the site uses its normal comment presentation.
