Review Cornerstone conversion

Check converted WordPress content, resolve review items and confirm the site no longer relies on Cornerstone for those items.

A successful conversion still needs editorial review. Builder content can contain layout decisions that only make sense in its original theme.

Check the important structures

  • Heading order and paragraph flow.
  • Images, galleries and captions.
  • Columns and repeated information grids.
  • Tables and lists.
  • Video or audio embeds.
  • Buttons and links.
  • Any item the Migrator marks for manual review.

Compare with the source

Keep the original Page/Post or a comparison draft available while checking the converted result. The goal is accurate content and a sensible WordPress layout, not a frame-by-frame copy of every builder effect.

Restore when necessary

If an applied conversion is wrong and the Migrator offers Restore Cornerstone Source, use that supported action rather than manually pasting old builder data back into the editor.

Repeat in batches

Once representative items are good, continue through the remaining content in manageable batches so review does not become a last-minute site-wide task.
