Components

Components are reusable sections for parts of a site that appear in more than one place.

Good uses

Hero sections, card grids, subscription blocks and repeated layout sections are good candidates when you want to maintain one reusable version.

Reuse shared items

A Component can use shared Navigation, Queries, Media and other supported site Resources. When installing or exporting a Resource Pack, review the related items so the whole section is included.

Keep essential content usable

If a Component uses optional JavaScript, the important text and links should still make sense when that enhancement is unavailable.
