HTTPS certificates
Use HTTPS for Micro CMS Admin, WordPress migration connections and public sites.
HTTPS protects sign-in, Admin actions and normal visitor traffic. It should be the default for a live Micro CMS or WordPress source site.
Certificate coverage
Make sure the certificate covers every hostname you expect users to visit, including the preferred www or non-www form and any active subdomain.
After a domain move
Issue or attach the certificate before sending normal visitors to the new destination. Then confirm HTTP redirects to the intended HTTPS address.
Migration Bridge
Normal connected WordPress migration requires HTTPS on the source. Fix certificate or hostname problems instead of weakening the connection for a public source site.
