ZIP files & package uploads

Handle ZIP downloads and uploads used by Micro CMS and WordPress products.

Several Micro CMS and WordPress products are distributed as ZIP files. Keep the archive intact unless a guide specifically tells you to extract it.

Uploading a package

When an Admin screen asks for a package ZIP, select the downloaded ZIP itself. Do not upload a folder created by extracting it first.

Renaming

A normal download filename is mainly for your own organisation. Do not edit files inside a signed Micro CMS package simply to rename internal folders or add notes.

Keep release files separate

Avoid mixing test builds with approved downloads. The Documentation Downloads area should be the reference point for packages intended for distribution.
