Headers

Headers are reusable site sections shown above the main page content.

Use Navigation

Use a shared Navigation item for menus rather than repeating the same links in several Headers. This makes menu changes easier to maintain.

Logo and site title

Use the normal logo and site-title options so a Header follows Site Settings instead of being tied to one site name.

Authenticated Profile Menu

Compatible first-party Headers can show the signed-in Profile Menu when Show Authenticated Profile Menu is enabled in Site Design. The Advanced and Documentation Headers support it.

Mobile checks

Test navigation, search, profile controls and logo sizing at narrow widths before publishing a changed Header.
